i might be fucking retarded because the first time i read "milk near an egg - also fine" i literally burst out laughing irl for like a minute for some reason i registered it as some kinda weird abstract joke and it just tickled the fuck out of me and it wasn't until i saw a screenshot of that room did i see the other poster and realize it was part of a different gag and not just some kinda absurdist meaningless joke

p4 feels like it was made by a third party company trying to emulate p2 rather than the actual devs
its a common issue where people forget what thought process led them to the creation of a great piece of work and they cant recreate it so they just copy what they did
its just a downgraded copy of something better
you cant even make the argument that at least its more modern so the technical aspects are better because not even that is true, p2 had snappier and tighter movement and weapon usage, better visuals, and it even crashed less
i mean ffs i know they're trying to recreate that game but idc how iconic the p2 crashes were those are NOT a feature you need to simulate in your sequel

personally i disagree, i liked it being very relaxed with only minor aspects of madness, the ending song amping up and going off the shits at the end as a visual and audible representation of your character being fed up and the game ending was great but the rest being so relaxed is what lended to its atmosphere as well as its humor and gameplay
having things feel too tense wouldn't work in a game where the whole premise is you fucking about and getting to sort things out whenever you feel like it and it wouldn't leave room for casual dry jokes
