They did exactly what everyone was afraid they were going to and played up to the serial rapist mission in SWAT 4, decided to base the aesthetics around that and True Detective, and then just made UE tactical dress up sim #54. The maps are too big, the mission writing sucks, there's too many enemies per mission, the AI is braindead, the ballistics are shit, etc. etc.

I'm sure there will be a mod to restore the previous content immediately anyway, just like how all the Swat 4 maps were ported
I agree with >>713984883 though, I do hate that the missions constantly scale up and there's never a return to a single-suspect or small-scale situation throughout, just constantly escalating stakes. The single-suspect/small-scale with many civs missions were some of the best. At least 3 and 4s maps are in with mods as well.
