I was disappointed by it. I dunno if it's me or the game but between the technical issues and my memories telling me Lecarde Chronicles 2 was way better I felt like the game was utterly mediocre and half baked.

Mandragora, Blade chimera, guns of fury, ender magnolia, biomorph and twilight monk are all better

Is farming xp the only way to do that?

There's a level cap at 30. I dunno how the guy in the screenshot got it to 45, maybe it's that power helmet. The way you can do it afaik is to farm the quartet, they drop stat increases but I am not sure because I am a chump and I have only managed to kill one.
