The UI is substantially better than DS1, and I'm enjoying taking the pack off and doing lite-stealth bandit purges. It runs very nicely. Obviously anyone who disliked the first game isn't gonna like this one, but as someone who liked DS1 it feels like almost all the little annoyances were trimmed out for 2.
just started this game. should I rush through the first couple of chapters first before doing side shit?
i remember i made the mistake in trying to 5 star things right off the bat in the first game only to find out if i finished like a few more story stuff, i was able to unlock more things that made things easier for me to do and get around.

yeah. i fucking loved the first one so naturally im enjoying the second because its better in every way.
with that said, its still a hard sell to friends just because of how the gameplay is.
i dont really care though. these types of games are good filters for the casual audience.
After the first game I decided to not get this one, Kojima can be good but without any fucking oversight/limitations he is just batshit fucking insane, spewing random shit and cosplaying them as smart is weak.

Yes. You should start trying to do side stuff when the ability to use the Magellan to go back to the Mexico map becomes available which is a couple chapters in. You can still do some orders and get a couple of stars on the way through the main path, but until you get to that point where you can go back to the Mexico map it's not worth trying to 5 star things.

It's good.
It wont change any minds for people who disliked DS1, but if you liked 1 it's basically just more of the same with some new bits and bobs
