Are the Royal Knights actually the weakest versions of those mons? Putting aside how often they job, I feel like Omegamon, Dukemon, Magnamon and UlforceV-dramon tend to have poor performance whenever they act in association with the Royal Knights. In its debut, Omegamon wiped out like a hundred thousand Ultimate-level Digimon in seconds. Sure, they were retconned to be inferior to the original, but the sheer level of destruction it was outputting completely blows away what the Royal Knight versions ever did. Like what was the most impressive thing Royal Knight Omegamon's ever done? Nothing. It's never achieved anything of value.

Honestly, I dunno. BlitzGreymon, despite appearances, appears to primarily be a melee fighter. Its Plasma Stakes seem to require physical contact. Its Thunder Verniers can be used as ranged weapons, but it looks like BlitzGreymon isn't a pure ranged fighter like Brigadramon is.

There's a lot of moments where the dialogue would be using gender-neutral terms when referring to the MC, and the translation tends to default to male pronouns, even if you're playing as the girl.
There are a few moments where the translators confused 'bakemono,' as in 'a ghost,' with Bakemon, who is not present in the game at all.

In fairness, one could argue that even then, most of Paladin Mode's worth comes from Omegamon. Imperialdramon wasn't all that impressive in 02. At one point it even gets knocked out by a Perfect-level Digimon. The Omega Blade was so powerful that it elevated Imperialdramon to something many times beyond its weight class.

But regardless, there have only ever been three instances in which Omegamon wasn't useless: Our War Game, Tri (Merciful Mode) and Colon. You could point to Digimon X-Evolution, but Alphamon did all the actually hard parts.

Depends on the setting. In the original Digimon Adventure, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon weren't particularly strong. WarGreymon's Dramon Killers carried it throughout its run, but whenever it fought something it couldn't one-shot with them, it fared poorly. It struggled against Pinocchimon and was largely useless against Piemon. MetalGarurumon was roughly its equal.

So Diablomon, at least in Our War Game, was probably statistically inferior to the Dark Masters. But what set Diablomon apart was the sheer amount of damage it was capable of causing within an extremely short period of time. If left to its own devices, it could have fucked the entire network up in the course of an afternoon.

You can't really power scale any Digimon unless you're talking about a specific incarnation of them, and you absolutely cannot take the word of flavour text or their Digimon Encyclopedia entries. For example we can say that the Diablomon in the movie was really dangerous for a mega because he was able to fight Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon, but obviously still much weaker than Omnimon. However then you move on to something else like Cyber Sleuth and Arata's Diablomon isn't particularly noteworthy at all. Power levels will never be consistent.
