The gameplay is horrible. The story is the worst out of the three games. The script writing is a pioneer of wokism in gaming.
But it looks okay. It's really easy. The combats so easy any one can do it. It has a lot of thought put into areas and design.
In reality if you're someone who doesn't care about game play, story and script, you'd probably think this game is amazing because you have no frame of reference that it's bad.

In this case, it's warranted. TW3 was the universal gaming darling for like 5 years yet every facet of its gameplay is at best mediocre and at worst tedious jank that actively detracts from the overall experience. The physics and world interactivity are terrible relative to its AAA peers. It has some of the fakest, stat-treadmill progression you will ever see in a video game that doesn't even make sense within the context of the narrative (Geralt is already at the peak of his abilities from the start of the game). The open world is the original template for generic bandit camps copy pasted throughout the overworld. The loot system is a chore. The combat is an unholy mix of animation pairing and hit/hurtboxes so you can't reliably predict your attacks. Exactly one skill has any use outside of combat and there's like three total interactions where upgrading it matters. These aren't trivial complaints, this comprises pretty much every part of the game players will engage with.

This would have been a better game if it was just shorter. The game is in the territory of 150 hours long and you will have basically seen everything the gameplay has to offer after like 20.

I tried liking this game, multiple times, but everything about it felt like jank, and not even of the soulful type, but of the slop type. I understand how people would like this game though because it is the perfect videogame for people who watch marvel and subscribe to netflix. There's a lot of people out there who are easily impressed and/or lie to themselves, this game is for them. Gameplay experience is equicvalent to doing homework while walking on a treadmill.
