>>714064143i think you misunderstand - currently only welcome tour, cyberpunk and street fighter 6 enable you to use 120hz at all. no other games will enable it and the screen defaults to 60hz with no option to force it to 120hz. even on an external display with 120hz support, 120hz mode is only used when a game signals it wants to use it. the system menus, the web browser, everything else is strictly 60hz.
the testers are not "forcing" it to 60hz, it is simply impossible to test it with your own arbitrary content like blur busters at 120hz. you sound aware of this yet you still seem indignant that people are testing 60hz mode, as if only half of your brain understands it.
they tested 60hz mode because they could not test 120hz mode. you could perhaps record welcome tour's single 120fps minigame with a capture card and play it back on an external display for a like for like comparison, but to display your own test images, you are forced to use 60hz.
