Been playing a lot of games.
Recently beat Armored Core 6, in the middle of a playthrough of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, got back into Splatoon, and got into racing games.
I am a fan of something I'll call "systems elegance"
Splatoon combines what, in other shooters, would be crouching, sprinting, stealth, and vertical movement (swimming up walls), into a single button press.
Star Wars: Racer Revenge could use a few more tracks, but it's an extremely tight anti-grav racer with a single combat mechanic: ramming into opponents to damage them. Boosting also overheats your pod, which causes damage, but you have a repair button, which also acts as a brake. Extremely underrated formula for a racing game.

The first one is sitting in my library
>>714065427Been thinking about what a combo of Mass Effect and Dragon's Dogma would be like.
Something with Dragon's Dogma's replayability but sci-fi would hit the spot.
I wonder if anything like that already exists.
