Machinery and roads get worn down by all the black tar heroine in the environment, too dangerous to fly aircraft because the hull would deteriorate while you're in the air.
>>714077240
Moisture in the game accelerates time making most things break down in hours. That's why all the gear Sam has is covered in plastic that takes centuries to break down(actually 10 minutes in the rain)
>>714077240 >what is the in-game explanation for no roads, cars, aircrafts or even animal transport existing in this world?
Is a world where they reached perfect anarco capitalism, roads are banned
>>714077240
Chiralium matter from the beach(essentially the afterlife)
The rain makes time pass and deteriorates things extremely fast. It's only been maybe 50 years since the apocalypse but the worlds terrain has completely changed.
The chiralium clouds are too dense for air travel so there's no safe altitude to fly at
The ocean is now made of tar it's impassable.
>>714077975
They all died.
Just to be clear they DO use roads and electric vehicles it's just difficult to maintain roads or build them before they build tech back up. They can now 3d print them in seconds so at the time of the game it's finally worth building them.
>>714079369
Yeah, I always do the qpid thing first. They just dont like raiding mules for ceramics I guess because thats the main one missing from them.
>>714075849 (OP)
I just don't get why this persists despite all the gameplay footage out there. Even the first game had great combat. Ds2 added more melee combat and tons of new enemies. The combat is just kind of optional in the overworld and can be avoided with stealth or subterfuge.
>>714079490
I think if you are playing the game this late you are going to get less links in general. Moving that freight and sourcing the materials is honestly a huge pain in the first game. It also depends on what part of the game you are at as the costs goes up especially for the mountain roads.
In 2 it's almost too easy the truck is actually really good now, there's monorail and mines, most of the autopaver are really easy to get to with the truck.
>>714080217
It's shitposting no need to think so hard
The fact that some people got legit gaslit by this is hilarious you can instantly spot retards because they don't know what "walking sim" actually means, even worse empty headed people who tried to play it like dunkedy instead of engaging the mechanics or tools in the game.
Like OP clip is literally the tutorial chapter, this part only happens immediately after your first BT area, etc.
>>714080856
I don't doubt OP is disingenuous, but its not as if nobody believes the hype/criticism here either. If it was intended to be humourous then my bad, but it.just isn't funny after its been done 1000 times.
>>714081118
Yeah that's what I mean by people being gaslit
If people genuinely mean these things they're just retarded
You do realize where we are right?
So the point of this """"game"""" is to watch lolsowackyxD cutscenes from Japanese David Cage, right? Gameplay is just slowly trudging from Point A to Point B, to be rewarded with awful shit like trannytuber bunny, making out with men, cringy pizza fights, etc. There is honestly nothing sadder than a Kojimaslopper. Even Snoytrannies are marginally less embarrassing.
>>714079369
learned this the hard way, I didn't know a part of the highway would go into a not connected zone...
I just thought my connected guys were being lazy
5000 ceramics and 5000 metals later, I realized
all my outposts are poor now
and I imported ceramics from Mexico also
>>714082524
How? There's only 6 preppers and no gadgets
Just come back later and 5 star everyone in one trip with carriers you're missing out on all the cool shit.
>>714083160
2 of the preppers are very difficult, 1 is nigh on impossible im so close but finding his lost loot is like nigh on impossible. Drops are scarce for him.
>>714079090
i'm unironically a huge kojima fan, so much so that I considered picking up a PS5 just for this game, but in anticipation of the release I grabbed the PC version of the first one for a refresher play through. the updated game was such a better experience than my first couple times through on the PS4 around launch that I decided to just wait for the PC release this time.
>>714084121
I did the same bought a pro for the new ghost game, but I got access to the battlefield beta on the pro too so started sing it more, Bought this game and I will be playing the new gta on it too
>>714083525 >nigh on impossible >nigh on impossible
Please kill yourself. There’s zero reason to say this retarded phrase once let alone twice. You don’t live in the 1800s.
>>714083525
They 100% have progress gated orders. Everyone does.
Theres also NPC aid requests that wouldn't be unlocked yet until you get to Australia.
>>714083525
check the shared cargo in the facilities, also you have to pick up the other packages too, don't leave them there, so they will reset and they can change to the ones you need
>>714085187
I have thanks, yes im collecting everything then dropping off for other porters to deliver. I will get there eventually. Australia is apparently less hassle regarding finding drops so that will be good
>>714085492
Star wars The old Republic. Took over from Sonys best ever game Star Wars galaxies
>>714077910 >>714077727 >>714078734
So how do Humans in that setting have access to drinking water, given that the hydrological cycle is completely fucked?
Would the Chiralium falling onto the ground and seeping through rapidly deteriorate the Earth’s crust, causing enormous cracks and massive earthquakes as parts of tectonic plates which have been building up pressure for millions of years crumble?
>>714083525
I'm gonna spoil it for artist 4 star is green and purple so maybe that is worth it if you like daily dose memes.
Bokka doesn't give you anything good after trekking boots. the 4 star is just a backpack charm that lets you see where npc porters are on the map. Probably the earliest one you can get but definitely one of the least useful.
>>714085640
Its the bottom base/settlement. I have done the rest and got the 5 stars. I know all I will get is a backpack badge which comes off anyway in Australia as you get updgraded clips or similar.

The time fall rain and tar itself both come from the beaches and is freely flowing between the material world and the beach. They actually address this a whole bunch in the new game and some of the scientists like a hydrologist and geologist even theorize it's the cause of the earthquakes that happen throughout the game. The tar forms complex currents underground that also travel through the beach, the ship in the game uses them to navigate.
