What's the best way to play the Super Mario Galaxy games? Is there any good way to emulate the original controls without actually getting a Wiimote?

I guess the Switch port of Galaxy supports gyro, but that still doesn't cover Galaxy 2

>map the pointer to your controller's gyro or right analog
The pointer solution is meh but having the spin mapped to a button is actually an improvement over the original control scheme
