Read the description, it was advertised much more than that. A better description would be: "engage in a thoughtful story that takes place in Rav.. something where it's always raining and everyone is either hyperpoltical or a complete normie. Choose your own political alignment and be prepared to get judged for all choices by a cynical writer who's projecting himself into an alcoholic man failure aka the protagonist who's name is [REDACTED]"

Cultist reply. This is precisely why you should second guess all shilling here, positive and negative. The game has no real continuity, even though your "choices" are a selling point. Same 10 minute story on loop stretched thin over hours, with variations, before it kicks you back to start. No one sees fit to mention this, they're too busy masturbating to the princess.
You'd be better off and a little bit wealthier if you assume everyone on /v/ is thinking with their dick all the time, and seriously weigh that factor in your purchasing decisions.

I don't know what else to tell you, anon.

The game is a philosophical love story about the nature of existence and the role of the two opposing forces existing within it.
Pretty much every choice leads to you experiencing a different reflection, with you learning a little more about what's going on during and after each experience.
The princesses being cute is just a pleasant side note to what is an impressive philosophical debate.

Simply said, it's not a game for people who aren't very intelligent.
And I'm not trying to insult you by saying so, it's okay to be dumb. Literally nothing wrong with that despite what some shitposters may claim.

The beginning is damn great but later on when they introduce all the political crap the game gets worse. Later on they kind of drop it so the game becomes kino again.

You're perfectly on script!
I almost wonder if you're the shill that finally convinced me to buy it. I mean, defend this lunacy >>712686231

The game isn't very deep. You're calling it a "philosophical love story" to enlarge its significance, when you're really just smitten with drawings. But if that appeal isn't there for you, it's a pretty hollow, repetitive experience. Prospective buyers should know this, but true believers are so interested in not "spoiling" 10 minutes of real content that they don't mention it, or otherwise downplay it.

>an endless multitude of choices that legitimately matter a WHOLE lot
This part more than anything. It's played up in the advertising too, how many impactful choices and endings there are. But you quickly realize the core gameplay loop is just too tiny and monotonous to seriously hold your interest for long, unless you're actually in love with the princess. There's no real continuity.
There's always a catch when quantity is emphasized. It reminds me of those "500 games in 1" type consoles you would find in toy stores in the 90s.

There are roughly 12k voiced lines of dialogue, 6000 images and about 30 distinctive routes.
You're literally complaining about things that don't exist.

>>714088091
I think the reason why you're so angry is because you're simply too dumb to understand the game in and of itself.
You went through two routes, probably skipped through the dialogue, didn't understand anything and got frustrated.
You fail to understand, however, that your frustration, your lack of understanding, is not valid criticism.

Change your starting build and change your approach and speed to dealing with the quests. You will see the game reacting in ways you don't generally encounter in visual novels or text adventures. I personally loved my hyperfoccused playtrough where i went at the game super seriously the way a real police officer would. The game will react to the way you play it. And i am not talking about the simple ''reactions'' that visual novels have.
