Goldeneye. Why the fuck does Perfect Dark have a port but somehow Goldeneye is still behind?

I'm looking forward to the Kirby 64 recomp. It would be awesome to see someone recreate the beta version where you could play as Adeleine and Waddle Dee

both decomps are almost wholly one-man projects, in addition pd's pc port is an almost wholly one-man project, dwyer was just more dedicated to finishing the decomp than kholdfuzion, sad truth

Goldeneye will only really be worth it for mods and potential multiplayer servers. It already has a pretty good HD remaster on xbone

Really the only thing that can save n64 emulation is having games but we don't have a time machine to fix that. It's simply a pump and dump box, and that's true for the emulation. What do you do? Play the 5 or 6 games it got endlessly? Nah you move onto a real console like sega saturn.

I'm more interested in seeing romhacks that push the games to their limits rather than "oh cool you can play it at hyper widescreen 8000fps with randomizer options".
The shit I see they do with Mario 64 or OoT is amazing, specially when they make it console compatible.

I REALLY REALLY REEEAAALLY want the N64 version of resident evil 2 to get a decomp.

We can give it the OG ps1 fmvs, we can keep the all the new built-in features like randomizer mode and custom controls.

I'm sure there could be a mod scene for the game.

Ogre Battle 64 with fixes to the Centurion Legion system. Thematically it's a cool idea but there is zero reason to ever use the broken-ass mechanic because it ONLY combines the negatives of each group for some reason.

Lol, the Saturn doesn't even have a single original game worth playing that compared in quality to the dozens of 'B-grade' N64 games that people *can afford* to give a pass because its major titles are just so excellent. You can find cool shit like TWINE, Silicon Valley and Rocket Robot that Sega had nothing like without having to dumpster dive.

I have no idea why people keep making co-op modes like this now. They're all about just going around and collecting shit in otherwise single player games and don't even offer anything actually interesting to do co-op that in any way even involves either working together or being adversaries.

Nerrel didn't make the recomp, he's just friends with the dev. But like his video explains, any recomps should be able to implement mod support easily going forward.
