If you wanna "teleport" around slamming into things and sending enemies flying consider Vanguard. It's like Soldier but more fun.

Its a shame the multiplayer had so many fun classes with more fleshed out mechanics than the base game. The Turian female Cabal vanguard is the most fun in the game because of her sheer mobility with directional dodge teleports and her dash not requiring a target and having that ability that instantly recharges barriers on press.

Soldier: generic cover shooter.
Infiltrator: stealth archer, play it if you like headshotting things.
Vanguard: prime things with companions, lock-on charge them for an explosion, and then shotgun them in the face. The most fun class if you like getting into melee range.
Sentinel and adept are similar classes. Both hide from cover, prime enemies with one ability, and then aoe combo them with the second ability. Adept is more fun to play because it's stronger, but more fragile.
Engineer: hack mech enemies or overload enemy weapons. Maybe the most boring class.

Conclusion: first choice Vanguard, second Adept.

It's been a while since I've played it. Yeah, I remember tech armor. I recall the gameplay being mostly just prime + shoot + explosion + pop tech armor if they get close.
