I wan't and RPG where you are fighting enemies that have Wolverine levels of regeneration, I dunno maybe they are like aliens, or magical creatures or druidic things, but anyway the only way to effectively kill them is with poison.
The whole game is focused on using Toxins, Acids and Poisons. And then you have the logistics side of things, where do you get enough poisons? Do you harvest from natural sources? Have Alchemists produce them in a lab? Make pacts with magical creatures?
How do you best use them? Do you create traps and mines? Do you flood entire cities and valleys with poison? Do you poison the water supply?

ajin combat is very complex and nuanced, but maybe it could be adapted into vidya in a compelling way.
most of the cool shit you can do is so outside the box and spur of the moment, you would need a time slow mechanic or something.
but it is a pretty interesting concept to jam some ideas.

But replaced the gangs with corporate PMCs, and instead of just New York we have the entire world under a globalist federal government on the verge of collapse and WW5.
Gameplay would be switching between real time tactical strategy, pause and slowed tactical strategy (if you are playing on higher difficulties).
Everything works kindda like Kenshi in terms of RPG systems, including limb health.
The amount of factions would be stupidly autistic too, all while trying to make them unique.
However, the part thats probably the hardest is that i do not want to make ot a 3D game. It would just take to much time, and if not done probably i would end just creating some bloatware. 2D or 2.5D with special effects are key here, as well as investing on cool as fuck music that goes well with the games pacing.

Ossiarch bone reapers from age of sigmar, but as a dungeon crawling clone. You get an initial roster of 4 degenerates, stuck as your basic bitch skeleton dude, later on you can mix their bones around sort of like in Shin Megami Tensei, to turn them into more professional stock of the line soldiers, or into skeletal giant abominations.
The main enemies would be chaos, and they would all drop bones that would enable your skelly dudes to be upgraded ( but depending on how corrupted the bones are, they can also have some negative consequences).
You would also have a big titty vampire girl as a pseudo shop keeper who can help reduce the corruption on looted bones among other things, but shes really just there as eye candy.

Anyways this will never happen because nothing good ever comes for this setting or genre lmao.

Like the other anon said, nothing's really happened so far. The story feels like its simultaneously moving too slow and too fast. At first it felt like it was gonna be some kind of limited resources high stakes, claustrophobic stuck in a mineshaft/bunker with a xenomorph alien situation. Then after building up the location and creature, they walked in, gunned it down and left the place and are getting chased.
If this whole arc ends up just being a brief prologue to establish character's and their skills and they get away to start a new arc on a real proper mission that'd be cool, but at this point it's just been cool set piece action without much substance.

Gameplay is a point and click puzzle adventure like Monkey Island. Mostly just a more developed Shadows or Mordor style game play. set it in the universe of mad Max, the player character will be essentially a nobody ascending to warlord status, Nemesis system will be fleshed out more, character player stats and relationships affect the loyalty of your underlings/soldiers, gain power through respect/fear/feats. I want a World Trigger game so bad
A proper rank wars game. PVP, action, probably TPS and maybe FPS when you scope with a sniper, destructible environments. Besides some creative maneuvers it would translate so easily to a video game. Everyone only uses weapons from a standardized selection, there's built in MP and loadout mechanics, only like one B rank character has a donut steel power that's relevant mid-fight (Kage) so you wouldn't need to worry about anything like that if they didn't want to.

My first roommate in college actually went to Les Gobelins's animation department way back in the early '10s, one of the guys that made Crisis Jung came in for a talk as an alumni (although obviously at the time he was pretty much a nobody). I think that's why I bounce off of franimation so much despite it's undeniable quality, I just got sick of listening to him talk about it for two years and it tainted the whole thing for me.

What would you say are your absolute must-recommends of franimation? Like I said I kinda bounced off the genre so besides new stuff like Mars Express, the most I remember is stuff like Kirikou that everyone had to watch in school.

i forgot about mars express. my fav shows are what i've already posted. movies, the bears famous invasion of sicily, the long way north, and the very very best is pic related. truly, every frame is a painting and the movie makes you both want to get out and climb as hogh as you can, and never get on anything taller than a step ladder ever again.

oh wow I had no idea they'd made a movie of this, I love taniguchi's stuff and this is one of the first complete manga I bought. Now if only they'd make a decent adaptation of The Climber as well.
