If you had to rank Stellar Blade, MGR, Bayonetta, DMC5, that one rhythm game that bankrupted its studio and whatever other dmccore I forgot to mention, how would you do it and how would Stellar blade, specifically, fare?

Only MGRR is a bad game out of them Stellar Blade is a solid 8.5 or so in hack n slash games. Worth buying if you enjoy exploration and simplicity along with things like Photomode outfit unlocks and one off puzzle/mini games that don't take much thought. Now delete the thread before that Wuwa schizophrenic starts spam posting about how his chink shit gacha game is on par with real games.

Funny MGR is my favorite game of the bunch. I acknowledge it has shit gameplay, but everything else is so good that it makes up for it.

They already announced Stellar Blade 2. If they add some more weapons and combos. Tighten up some dumb mechanics like enemys forcing you out of travel speed and into combat it will be a literal 10.

I spent a good 15 minutes learning all the available combos when the PS5 demo came out just to learn in the full release that all I need is X-X-X to build up Beta and Dodge/Blink/Repulse to build up Burst. Oh and Parry for Stance. The combat is just about rotating Burst/Beta/Retribution. I like the game a lot but the mechanics do get boring.

I don't disagree I think the boss fights genuinely make the game and that it needs a style meter or something to prevent you from just mashing light attacks but I make my own combos and flow in combat to make up for it. I think they have potential but weapon swaping or stance swaping + double the combos would knock stellar blade 2 out of the park.
