op here, how do i stop getting mad whilst playing games?
>>714119231 (OP)You don't, you just keep replacing equipment/tables until the money cost hurts enough so you take pause the next time you get mad.
>>714119231 (OP)It's just a game. It has no control over you or your life. You can turn it off at any time. Why get mad at something you have all that power over?
I broke a perfectly good 1440p monitor from 2019 maybe 6 months ago by punching it as hard as I could after dying in lost ark. In my defense, it's a terrible gookslop P2W mmo.
I stopped doing this shit when I grew older and realised hardware and shit costs a lot of money. Why throw money down the drain because you canโt control your anger like a fucking toddler?
>>714119701>>714119962It does not apply to retards sadly.
>>714119802So just never get mad in life ever?
>op here
>op post
No way...
>>714121828Op here. You already said that
>>714121908Op here. No you're not I am
>>714119231 (OP)Outburst of irrational anger are a tell tale sound of low intelligence
>>714122140Yep. I only know two kinds of people who behave this way. Actual morons and legitimate autists.
OP here is a massive FAGGOT
op here it's perfectly normal to be attracted to a 13 year old girl
>get mad at game and just alt+f4 it
>come back an hour later and beat the boss or whatever easily
>pause game and wonder how in the world i got mad in the first place
its such weird feeling
>>714119231 (OP)Unironically turn off the game, ragequitting is a tactic not a concession
I was getting way too angry at ranked in tekken 7. Punching a pillow was as far as I went, but my mental state wasn't good. My solution was to stop playing, it wasn't worth it. In a way it's similar to drug addiction: at some point the withdrawal gets worse than the high. Same with video games, you might not notice it but at some point you are more stressed than entertained.
You can also try meditation. Among other benefits you can get from the practice is the ability to be less reactive. Observing the products of your mind creates distance between you and your mind, and you will find that you don't actually have to act on your anger.
>>714119231 (OP)There's no need to stop getting mad. The only people who don't get mad are manchildren living with their parents who aren't allowed to yell loudly in the house.
>$8000 worth of PC gear
>$50 on a table
>>714124303Yes, that makes sense. The table gets the job done.
>>714119231 (OP)I think getting mad due to a game is a sign of failure in understanding what a game is.
The rules define a process during which the winner(s) and loser(s) are designated and you voluntarily participated. Did you not consider that failure was a possible outcome?
>>714119231 (OP)I used to punch walls whenever something made me angry (be it vidya or just my job) but now my knuckles are so pulverized they feel like jelly
>whilst
stop being european, for one
It's pretty cool that life is so easy and carefree nowadays that people have the luxury of getting angry over something so irrelevant and inconsequential as a video game. 21st century is really peak as far as the human experience goes. Easy mode.
>>714119231 (OP)Antipsychotics can curb autistic meltdowns fairly well, try that anon.
>>714119231 (OP)Stop playing games that make you rage or stop getting so emotionally invested into multiplayer games.
>>714119231 (OP)stop playing league of legends lmao
I smashed an old, busted, drifty XBONE controller yesterday during a match of Splitgate 2. A couple of sweats kept killing me within the first like two shots, and I had enough. I hesitated at first, but then I thought, "Ah, fuck it." The release felt good, but I shouldn't let video games drive me to that level of rage. It's just that the powerlessness I felt in that moment, compounded with the stress of the previous couple of weeks... I couldn't help but snap, bros.
>>714119231 (OP)You're getting mad because you're taking your games too seriously. Lots of folks take it too seriously because they need to feel that rush of victory in the game, likely because they don't get it anywhere else. What may work for you is finding more interests, and different ways to get out of those things what you currently get from games.
It's related to addiction. Don't let it consume you friend.
>>714124518the table is in two pieces on the ground
>>714124303Fuck you, not giving my money to Big Table when the floor just werks
