I'm 36. The 2600 was a gift from an aunt I'm pretty sure when I was a kid. Also played with NES too that my sisters had. First real time I got into games would be SNES with being blown away by Super Metroid, Mega Man X and Street Fighter 2 The World Warrior.

GameGear. Barely usable the screen is scuffed to hell but I got it and like 20 games for $20 at a garage sale a decade ago. I wish the Genesis had a Gameboy like player. So many fucking attachments but you can't play game gear on the TV

This would've looked so much better if it wasn't some shitty old camera. old games have value, I can't see the value in obsolete technology that does the same thing but worse. Analogue sure, but some tacky little point-and-shoot digital cam was bad even back then.

My parents sold my NES and all the games/peripherals without my knowledge so they could get me an SNES for Christmas of 1990.

Got another one years later from my HS girlfriend who said it never worked well. I replaced the cartridge slot with a gold plated one and it worked great. She broke up with me, so I never gave it back.
