You're under the assumption that the Game awards are fair and prestigious. It's just a 4 hour video game ad block that just happens to give out awards but it's voted by 90% by journos. The only thing player voted would be player's voice but then they don't even reveal how many actually participate in that so you can't be sure since gachas seem to get into the semi-finals pretty easily.
