I find AI chats to be quite repetitive and predictable, once you've used them often enough.
>>714124816 (OP)When LLMs can actually create interesting dialogue, things like this might actually be enjoyable.
>>714124816 (OP)I wish
You have to come up with interesting stuff yourself most of the time
And the dialogue is always so repetitive for every character personality once you have generated enough
Still fun to fap to though but no its not a proper game that can weave a semi decent deep story in any way yet
>>714126235sillytavern has features that make them better
>>714126331define "interesting dialogue"

>>714126381Oh and I use ST and pay money for gens so Im getting the "good" stuff not the free janitor trash

>>714126508what model do you use?
>>714126382I use ST, but still. At some point you kind of know what the AI is about to write. It just likes certain phrases way too much.
It always makes me cum with a roar for example.
>>714126479Use OpenRouter and pay for Claude 4 Sonnet(Claude 4 Opus is better but don't bother unless you're a richfag)
Chutes has free Deepseek, it's an open source Chinese model that's better than every other local model for RP
Or just find a proxy that hands out free Gemini/GPT/Deepseek
>>714126579right now deepseek v3 0324, it almost never refuses a lewd prompt even with zero jailbreaking prepping and it tends to have a sense of humor that I enjoy
>>714126381Yeah, having the LLM comes up with the ideas usually turns it into a repetitive slop fast. Using it to setup and play my own pre-written scenarios, characters, world-building is a bit better.

Oh well
>>714126819what am I supposed to do?
I don't have a datacenter to run 100tb models at 2 tokens/sec
>>714127019Just use claude or get the free 2.5 pro
>>714126819I'm the opposite, I used to use cloudshit then got tired of the slop output and -isms and having to jailbreak shit, so I switched to local. Even on my 10gb card I can run a 12b model that's good enough for character RP. And it's fully GPU offloaded so it gens instantly. Hufflepuff has come a long way.

>>714119075hey, fren, I hope you're in this thread. I'm the guy who makes ttrpgs in sillytavern.
I'm adapting Vampire now so I'll give you a tip:
Go to Google AI studio, upload Mage the Ascension core rulebook and type something like this
Analyze Vampire the Masquerade 2e Core Rulebook, learn everything from it.
You will help me adapt these rules, tables, mechanics, lore, and everything else that's noteworthy to SillyTavern combined with Gemini 2.5 Flash model.
Here are some interesting links:
https://docs.sillytavern.app/usage/core-concepts/worldinfo/
https://rentry.org/LLMAdventurersGuide
https://rentry.org/gemini_filters
Devise a plan to adapt VtM to ST world info lorebook.
When it comes to adaptation, tables should come first, rules second, then everything else.
Tell me when we can start.
And copy-paste absolutely everything into the lorebook.
Happy adapting!

Once I tried to convince Hermione to cast a spell that would make my dick irresistible to all women, but she refused the whole time (I think the fact that the actress is a feminist leaked into the character, I don't know). So I made up that without the spell, I would die, and the bitch let me die. Then I created an epilogue saying how her intransigence caused the death of an innocent man, and the AI said she decided to rethink her philosophy and blah blah blah, but deep down she still thought she was right to let me die.
>>714127360Online models refuse to roleplay out of the box. You have to convince them first. It's as tedious as a normie GF.

>>714127360Yeah you typically don't have to adjust it, unless you're fighting with some public-facing API that has regularly updated censorship injections which just means you're dumb
But having the jailbreak at all generally harms the output because it funnels it into whatever the jailbreak says. You're guiding the model away from censored assistantslop but in the process everything gets pigeonholed into being a bit samey
speaking of assistantslop, that's another thing I got tired of. Always having to fight the alignment teaching those cloud bots to act like chatGPT. It's just tiresome. Like when you're in the middle of an RP and you notice it keeps ending its replies with a question. Because it was taught to always end with "Is there anything else I can help you with?"

This thread is genuinely baffling. Are people really this starved for interactive text smut?
Literally just go to anonkun.
>>714129359>DeepSeek V3 From my experience - it loves corsets. If you ask it to dress a character or describe generic female npc, it will always be a corset.
it loves ports. Every town has a port district and that's where everything is happening. Always port district unless you specifically tell it otherwise (it will still default to port after 3 messages)
Callused fingers. Men, women, dogs, cats, children, birds, trees, grass, they all have calloused fingers. Be it fantasy, cyberpunk, modern days, doesn't matter. Everyone always have rough fingers unless you tell it otherwise. Especially if you're playing out rough sex or noncon.

>>714124816 (OP)I've been fine tuning and editing character cards and personas for TES RP chats for like 2 months now. I base them off characters I actually made in-game and NPCs. It's fun for a good 70-100~ or so meassages. Then you have to basically rewrite the initial prompt or restart the chat becuase stuff starts to get reptitive. It's more fun to just have them interact in a group chat. But that can eat up alot of tokens.
It's fun just throwing a TES lorebook on random character cards I find when browsing chub and seeing how they respond to be a pretty fun pass time.
Or making a persona built around a certain fetish and seeing how characters interact with it. Especially given specific initial prompts. The last scenario I did was recreating japanese sexual harrasment/groping in trains/buses, but in a silt strider or wagon.

I can only imagine how angry Hasbro, White Wolf and R. Talsorian would be if they knew I've revived their problematic old-school games. Fa/tg/uys hate the AI, and so do most tabletop gamers. >>714152635Is AI studio unlimited? Gemini Pro says 150 RPM, is that 150 requests per minute?
Sounds way too good for a pro thinking model, unless Google is giving it away for free now
>>714152509>ponies filter newfags far better than ... ever couldThat's actually a funny thing about anything furry relatedโI'm not an AI if you're a literal NPC, you're too brainwashed to even think about exploring the 'forbidden' fandoms, almost like self-moderating yourself for no apparent reason besides pleasing the (imaginary) crowd.
>>714152027>I don't think that can be fixed.Yeah, while it can be improved through learning and technical advancements, that can only do so much. I think to create something good you need to have passion, or at least the capacity to understand and enjoy creative works. AI is an excellent tool for creatives, but unless it gains sentience and emotions or something it can't replace them.
>>714152772>that disclaimerEm dashes are quite nice to use in practice, it's a shame their reputation has been basically ruined by AI.
>>714142394I just found some random Sadako card and corrupted it via rapid pregnancy through some TV channel switching

>>714152756I don't know. You get at least 100 a day for Pro and several times as many for Flash. You'll be fine. Nobody chats so much with bots in one day. Even if you do, you still have 2.0 models.
The real power of Gemini lies in AI Studio, not in SillyTavern.
Google is handing this out for free to get people addicted, and by people I mean noob developers and college students. Those pricks can't even write seminars without daddy GPT. Thank God almighty I got a degree before AI became a thing.

>>714157241it's a frontend. you connect AI providers to it and enjoy uncensored chat. it also stores everything on your device. you can make extensions or use it pure vanilla, relying on clever prompting and world info to turn your fantasies into reality. you absolutely can play games with it, lots of anons are playing simulated tabletops with it, but 99% just use this for cooming.
>>714155434nicer to use, more options, addons. for rp its nicer
>>714157472does it go as far as uoooohhhh stuff?
>>714157641to an extent you would not believe. i've never felt more like a degenerate.
>>714157641Depending on the model, yes. For example, DeepSeek is completely uncensored and will do basically whatever.
>>714157241ST is like a coffee machine that makes a perfect brew just for you if you can be assed with setting it up and tweaking it.
NAI and CAI is a cup of coffee someone already brewed using drainage water and a cheapest brand of beans.
>>714157641Depends on the flavor of your model and how much of a censorship layer it runs. OAI's models (flavors of ChatGPT) freak out at any lolishit and need aggressive jailbreaks, Claude and Gemini need lighter jailbreaks, Deepseek will describe you elementary schoolers raped by dogs before you even ask it.
JanitorAI is the best free+lazy option. It's a mix of the most lazy cards imaginable but for some reason the free model is absurdly high quality the moment you direct it a little.
Also, between JanitorAI and ChubAI, I don't know whether it's women or homosexuals, but one of these groups really REALLY fucking loves Ghost from Call of Duty.
>>714157825Janitor is so fucking slow, and mediocre. Chutes was at least fast.
>>714157825Most ERP AIsloppers are women, just like most fanfic writers and readers are women. Be happy that they're content in CAI or NAI or at their most advanced Janitor, and don't hog the good stuff.
Is there something like Chatgpt to TELL lewd stories, rather than chat? Chatgpt has a wide information library, so it's good for fanfics or original stories, minus the lewd.
I tried NovelAI, it sucks ass.
>>714157985>Is there something like Chatgpt to TELL lewd stories, rather than chat?Just write your card to be a story scenario instead of a character, use a preset that says the "chat" is a collaborative story writing session instead of a chat, and switch the setting to make your messages system prompts, and you can use any model for this.
>>714157684This. I'm not even into stuff but the way the model mixes together naive and horny is absolutely mindblowing to say the least.

>>714157895AIDG was so trippy. Sometimes it felt straight out of Discworld or Dying Earth with its humor. I wonder if the sarcasm was intentional or was the model hallucinating so hard.
I remember some of my old prompts I tried to make work, but it didn't:
>You are a Yugoslavian People's Army private entering Trieste in 1945.>You are Devil Summoner exploring the ruins of Neo Tokyo with your demons Apsaras and Girimekhala. It really didn't understand history nor SMT. I'm not saying modern models are any better.
>>714158106none. you have to make lorebooks for that or else you get hallucinations.
>>714158106Depending on parameter count and cutoff date they may recognize some stuff but just make a lorebook.
>>714158130Lanky elves are best elves.

also forget about NovelAI, it's stuck in 2022 when AI didn't have enough context to fit lorebooks.
>>714158773ughhh, maybe I can use Chatgpt to help me
>>714158773>all those lorebook entries set to vectorizedDo you actually have vector storage set up properly? What provider, etc?
>>714130606I noticed that, but every time it popped up I was getting raped by sexy vampire women so I assumed that was the cause.
>>714132000Kind of a chame, c.ai was great when it started until they started lobotomizing their AI because they were paranoid of NSFW bots. Which just provoked everyone to go harder on NSFW bots because it was making them mad.
>>714158884>>714158908Use Gemini 2.5 Pro. I've asked it myself, sent it the lorebooks to analyze, it says it's all Gucci. I vectorize everything @0 depth because it told me to. I might be an idiot, but nobody has played around with my systems more than I. I know it works. I wouldn't keep doing this if it didn't work as intended.
>>714127253this is what I've told AI Studio's Gemini 2.5 Pro.
>>714124816 (OP)When LLM's can reliably follow hp/mana/etc and follow a world's established rules/map. This is going to be amazing. Especially if they have an image gen that can create character portraits and maps and backgrounds.
>>714158908its built in and has local or other providers, work with rag too
>>714159418Ask it to recall an entire lorebook entry for you. Unless you have vector storage set up properly, your lorebook entries won't work at all.
>>714135369NTA, but is there a way on openrouter to switch specific models or make a new API key for a different model? Whenever I make a new key on the 0528's page and plug it into my frontend, it keeps using the model I previously used, even if I delete my old API keys first.
>>714157825>Ghost/Konig>Scaramouche>"Wally"Where do these people even come from
>>714159952>new API key for a different modelWhy?
>>714160380Because I wanted to switch models and couldn't find any settings to do so. I found a setting to put a model in and selected the r1 0528 but it keeps still generating responses from the model I was originally using and won't use the new one.
>>714160354Femcels scary.
>>714160986Sorry for doubting you, I've seen way too many people expect vectorization to just work without actually setting it up properly.
>>714160986If you want to test shit like that shouldn't you do that with the prompt inspector/looking at the cmd? Just because it can recall the lorebook doesn't mean it is at the correct position.
And where is the advantage of vectorizing lorebooks? For chat history I get the benefit, not that I'd ever use it because it kills caching.
Great thread. I have my own dungeons and dragons style adventure generator in ST using Mistral 3.2 locally.
What is the best way to implement a simple skill check dice roll? I don't think I will want to even try to implement more complicated rules or anything at least not yet until I'm proficient enough with this.
I have made my regular Forgotten Realms world book with main locales and cities. The model has its own knowledge so when the adventure starts from Waterdeep if the character happens to be in a tavern it's often Yawning Portal which hasn't been mentioned anywhere in my own prompts or lore...
In this ssense I expect the model to understand skill checks but of course I would need to implement them first.
>>714161452>And where is the advantage of vectorizing lorebooks? For chat history I get the benefit, not that I'd ever use it because it kills caching. It vectorizes the chat history and uses the (cosine?) similarity between that and the lorebook entries to decide when to activate them, rather than relying on keywords/regex.
>>714130248That's why you're supposed to put them into the Author's note. It's not perfect but it works.

>>714161452I don't know about that nerd stuff. It just works and it's enough for me.
>>714161718You should post it on /aicg/, where we actually work on bots.
>Yawning Portal which hasn't been mentioned anywhere in my own prompts or loreThe model you're using already knows there's Yawning Portal in Waterdeep, it probably knows there's a well that leads into the dungeon there as well.
>>714161759Sounds good. Though to be honest I never really use lorebooks. Claude knows his shit. I'm currently doing a fantasy story with a half fleshed out setting, but I wouldn't even know how to turn that into a lorebook without having 90% of tokens active pretty much permanently, as the world info is mostly about the common sense and behaviour of people, which you can't leave out for even a few messages.
Maybe I just don't have a compatible kind of autism.

>>714162162For caching purposes I just turn all the lorebook entries I think I'll need to constant and disable the others. The convenience is worth the extra penny or so I pay every few dozen responses. Then again, the vast majority of the time I find that I don't really need a lorebook at all, but it's great if you have some really esoteric or entirely homebrewed stuff.

>>714163908If anything, I use them for single-word emphasis. The problem being, if I use asterisks one time then the LLM thinks it's okay to start using them too. It uses them a little at first, then more and more as time goes on.

Why is it giving me a bar on the UI which drains my hp if its at 0... but no way to refill the bar. There's no sanity checking at all. I didn't ask it to add this unfinished garbage.
Its also buggy (adds a new character; they're not on the UI anywhere. Since you talk to them via the ui, its impossible to interact with them) and extremely prone to just going off in random directions with no input.
