I've been fine tuning and editing character cards and personas for TES RP chats for like 2 months now. I base them off characters I actually made in-game and NPCs. It's fun for a good 70-100~ or so meassages. Then you have to basically rewrite the initial prompt or restart the chat becuase stuff starts to get reptitive. It's more fun to just have them interact in a group chat. But that can eat up alot of tokens.

It's fun just throwing a TES lorebook on random character cards I find when browsing chub and seeing how they respond to be a pretty fun pass time.

Or making a persona built around a certain fetish and seeing how characters interact with it. Especially given specific initial prompts. The last scenario I did was recreating japanese sexual harrasment/groping in trains/buses, but in a silt strider or wagon.

OAI's models (flavors of ChatGPT) freak out at any lolishit and need aggressive jailbreaks, Claude and Gemini need lighter jailbreaks, Deepseek will describe you elementary schoolers raped by dogs before you even ask it.

JanitorAI is the best free+lazy option. It's a mix of the most lazy cards imaginable but for some reason the free model is absurdly high quality the moment you direct it a little.

I have made my regular Forgotten Realms world book with main locales and cities. The model has its own knowledge so when the adventure starts from Waterdeep if the character happens to be in a tavern it's often Yawning Portal which hasn't been mentioned anywhere in my own prompts or lore...
In this ssense I expect the model to understand skill checks but of course I would need to implement them first.

It vectorizes the chat history and uses the (cosine?) similarity between that and the lorebook entries to decide when to activate them, rather than relying on keywords/regex.
