i honestly find the forgotten, azazel, and tainted bethany to be tho most fun.

i go for different builds with different characters. like, i usually won't pick up brim with the forgotten, the way it interplays with his melee is weird and i'm not a fan. same for epic fetus, the way he lobs the airstrike fucks with me.

ludo kicks ass with azazel, or brim in general, of course. onions or almond milk are actually really good with brim since repentance, too. being a mobile turret with o need to charge completely makes up for the damage loss. the way it functions i'm pretty sure the dps stays the same now anyway, so it just makes it less thinky and more shooty.

btw Tainted Isaac needs a rework badly, this character sucked ass when going for Dead God. Having regular Isaac's birthright as an innate passive is fucking worthless when I can't take 90% of the items I'm gonna see in my run anyway. Tainted Lost also needs a rework because "better items" is a bold faced fucking lie. A worthless HP up would be less insulting than throwing Free Lemonade and The Wiz in my face while the game refuses to drop me even a single Holy Card for the entire run.

Yes. Especially if you know you going to have hard time to secure Devil/Angel Room later.

In multiplayer there's more chances to lose the Devil/Angel chance, so it's good idea to just take the devil deal. Also, devil deals have perks in multiplayer that you can take more than just one item and you are more likely to have plenty of HP to buy the deals because you have 1-3 more players.
