I don't mind office mice, but office keyboards suck shit for gaming.
>old decent keyboard died a few years back
>replaced it with a cheap office keyboard
>the actual look and feel of it is pretty good, but it has severe issues with multi-row inputs
>makes it very difficult to play games where you want to hold w + strafe + some other input because it'll drop the third button until you release one of the other two
It's alright for RTS, but it sucks in first person shooters or space games

I don't know why but I feel much more comfortable using cheap office mice than expensive ones.
I once bought a 50 dollar one that was recommended in /g/ and I it sucked, then I bought some mouse in some Chinese place for 3 or 4 dollars and I used it comfortably for years.
I guess I got screwed with that $50 mouse but I don't pay much attention to it.

The difference between an entry level gaming mouse and a $200+ gaming mouse is insignificant.

Performance is as good as wireless, if there is an actual difference I can not detect it.

After an adjustment period, mostly of acclimating to a vertical mouse in the first place and not specifically to the M618XSD, I'm about where I was for first-person games like Mordhau and TF2. I don't have any problems past that learning curve. I don't really do "high level play" per se but I'm decent at Mordhau and I'll generally be mid-high on scoreboards in TF2 pubs.

I'd rather run a random Terminal script as Admin from an Indian Windows how-to Youtube video than run whatever keylogging software the chinks have for their keyboards and mice.

I've used mechanical kbs and normal kbs (laptop and rubber dome) and you get used to both after a while. Use your brain, faggot. Mechanical cucks are just like audiopedophiles.

only autists buy those expensive mice
>nooo bro you NEED to have 20 buttons on the side of your mouse!
nah i'm good with three buttons. in fact, I remember back when there was no middle mouse button either. what good at 20 tiny-ass buttons on the side of a mouse gonna do me when my thumb is more likely to smoosh multiple tiny buttons? same problem Playstation Controllers (those things are made for tiny 5 year old japanese children hands)

I love PC gaming with my cheap mouse and keyboard!
Theres never any need to push 3 keys at the same time so membrane keyboards are just better.
My mouse might have a 50ms click delay but I dont mind because it looks good on my budget IPS screen.

are you so retarded that knowing the subtle difference between a mechanical and a non-mechanical affects your ability to use a keyboard? if not then it doesn't matter

For a while i've been using a mouse without any side buttons which is fine usually but some games it would be nice to have them and there's one game I play they are pretty much vital, I saw a dirt cheap gaymer mouse with some side buttons in a shop yesterday and brought it but holy shit I can tell why it was dirt cheap this thing feels like utter trash to hold, I'll use it for the one game that really demands side buttons and probably nothing else
