Though it's just one of those rpgmaker adventure games that's more dialog than anything. Could recommend her Lieat game as well, it's the grumpy guy and his surrogate daughter meme and it's adorable, I even bothered to read a little side novel she did with them. Alicemare is alright but a little too short for the amount of characters.

Do it, it's a good game. It's supposed to be about farming rice but I actually found the combat engaging.

I loved the setting and characters but there was something that fundamentally displeased me with the combat/gameplay, I kept grabbing on/not grabbing on ledges, and whiffing my attacks because the enemy was on the ground, having to wait for it to slowly stand back up always took me out of my combos. I should make more of an effort, but eh

There should be moves that can launch downed enemies. Though in general you should be juggling enemies where they don't really get downed in the first place.

I bought it on the switch when it came out but I got filtered by the farming segments, it's a lot more hands off than I was expecting so I never knew if I was doing shit right or wrong. Might give it another go one of these days.
