This shit is fucking impossible, my sense of rhythm is definitely not great but I swear to god at least half the time the game tells me I missed a beat I actually didn't. How people can beat this thing with a character that dies with a single skipped beat is actually beyond my comprehension.

Not really unfair but I got stressed out playing Grime. It is a good game and I'll finish it at some point, only have a couple of bosses to kill. The last boss is doing my head in though, it's not even that hard but the combat is focused on parrying and I suck at parrying.

returnal is the only game in recent memory where i ended up just putting it down and accepting, whatever, i'm just not good enough to beat the second boss and i have no clear path to get better. as a solidly mid-skill player i'm really not sure what it was about it that was so demoralizing because the minute-to-minute gameplay was enjoyable enough
