32-bit PhysX isn't a driver issue, but at the architecture level. With the newest drivers, 4000 series and lower can still do it.

I'm autistic about image quality and always have been. I'm not here to tell you DLSS is flawless, even when its great there are always trade-offs and as terrible as TAA is, it will handle certain things better than DLSS in pretty much every single case. But where DLSS excels is in general image quality, so the most obvious stuff, it will lose something in the finer details, but that tends to be stuff that is much harder to notice.
That's why DLSS straight up often looks better than native resolution because TAA is so bad at general image quality.

This is a bad metric, ideally the pixels should be so small that you don't need to oversample at all. We're not quite there yet with commonly available monitors (and we're very far in terms of GPUs being able to actually render modern games at the resolutions that would be required). Right. Because we didn't really have displays which could do particularly high resolutions or with particularly high PPI. It's better to oversample on your low quality, low PPI display than to just raw-dog, but what's even better is to just get a higher resolution display so you have more pixels to work with and those pixels are smaller, so they're less individually distinguishable when viewed.

Ironically enough pressure to 'optimize' games has led devs to implement driver version control. I.E shit won't launch unless it determines a specific driver version or newer. Makes sense that they'd do that given how many people (especially in this thread) are incapable of updating them.
