fun game overall but my problem with it is that there's too many gay puzzle bosses that just aren't fun even once you know the gimmick, and, it sort of feels like all but one or two builds are totally gimped until late game unless you do some skips and such.

If you have a pc good enough to emulate it / a ps4 covered in dust then go for it, its one of fromsofts better titles.

in a way even the final boss (not the secret one) is kind of a puzzle boss because he's like the second boss in the game you can meaningfully firearm parry

wrong, limited heals is one of the redeeming features of the game, it would literally just be a boring slog without the tension of limited heals because it's not actually that challenging at any point.

Rom and witch are just gimmicks. Both are fought like any other boss they just don't fight you exactly like a normal enemy....this is bad because BECAUSE IT JUST IS!!!
Micolash I would consider a "puzzle" but it's more about running around and figuring out the layout to get to the next arena. It's annoying on repeat playthroughs but seriously why the fuck are you mad that a handful of bosses don't want to have some "honorable" duel?

i'm not mad i just don't like those bosses very much and they stick out as bad memories when i reflect on the single playthrough i gave this not offensively bad but not particularly outstanding game

tried to play in 30fps on shadps4 to alleviate the memory leak crash and boy it was fucking horrible
How the fuck do consoletards even tolerate and finish this in 30 FPS. I'm gonna wait till shadps4 streamline and optimize the vram usage

none of these games ran at 60fps until either DS3 or DS1 remaster. Even if you played on PC the animations would be at 30fps and a lot of stuff tied to the framerate so increasing it would break it, until mods eventually fixed it.

Turns out when your game is fun you can ignore certain flaws like this. Though it was a lot more acceptable in games before that because of how slow they were.
