I wonder it it will have parts similar to PREY where enemies resemble normal objects to ambush you.

I wonder if the story details from the old leaks were changed at all. By the time it releases, it'd have been 3 years since

Actually looks fun. Like action RE4 if it was a sci-fi action adventure with robots

Don't care.
I like it because the astronaut guy looks awesome.

Definitely. I'm sure something happened that made them have to rewrite or redo large parts of the game. That's why it has been delayed so much.

Not quite sure how hacking mechanics works but I always dreamt about a game which combines action and puzzle mechanics so I hope it delivers.

The gameplay overview showed Hugh carrying a bunch of guns, seems like the puzzle elements will find strength only in situations with multiple enemies where the player's forced to juggle priorities. Not too sure how they'll make boss fights engaging with these mechanics, though, I really don't fucking want them to place in adds and trash mobs in those encounters

I think judging from the early reactions, it seems more fun if you were playing it instead of just watching the gameplay.

>in the near future
>several years have passed (several implying less than 10)
>setting features hyper-futuristic architecture and technology
look, I love sci-fi and futuristic settings, but for fucks sake, why is it that every time creators use this setting they place it SO close to our own contemporary date? it takes decades, if not centuries, to progress technology and civilization, regardless of whatever stupid mcguffin or unobtanium is used as the plot device

Capcom is hedging all their bets on REfags buying the game, but with RE9 coming out they're basically their own competition. Pragmata looks genuinely terrible, slow, and tedious.

they are too low-IQ to understand hard science

you know the whole thing you can only write smart characters depending on the authors intelligence

i'm lowkey writing my own hard sci-fi story (just for me and close friends to read) and to make it ultra realistic i researched the history of science etc... to extrapolate how long it would take to have "magic nano materials"

Since 1900 we've been able to shrink our manufacturing techniques by -2.47% per year (today we can easily manifacture things in the 10 nanometers, like Quantum Dots (TVs) or Nanocoating Sprays you can buy at the hardware store)

going at the rate we're able to manipulate matter on the micro dimensional scale, we'll be able to manipulate individual protons/electrons/neutrons (attometer scale or 10^-18 meters) and make our own custom atoms and in the year 3200-3300

and a Type 2 civilization by the year 3500 (type 1 in 2400s)
