This just shows how flimsly made the romance/friendship is in all of these rpgs, which some might say its proper as that its not the main focus of the game, its still an important part both in stories and in life, not to mention as other anons have said, these end up tangling nd ruining interactions from both sides, both in camaradarie and love.

These rpgs should give you a sexuality option right at the start,l; straight, gay, bi or not interested, and according to your choice you straight up should never be given choices that stray from that path, the makers should also write both full links of interactions with characters being either your lover or your friend (at least for the main party members) to make sure even if you arent romantically interested in one of them, you can still create a meaninful bond with them. I also think every npc being MCsexual is dumb, but that is a whole other can of worms that is lower priority.

There, everyone is happy, unless of course, if the devs are intentionally trying to make people who just want to play their friendship/adventure simulator be forced to watch accidental sex they dont want.
