It's called Pokémon TCG Pocket.
It's a mobile gacha game currently grossing $50 Million every month.
and the gameplay sucks
They won't ever make a game like the two GB games again because unlimited access to every card doesn't keep you spending money every month.

Can't they just use the gameplay from the GBC games while still keeping their pay to collect model? Unpacking is fun, but as you said, it's not fun to battle using their new system. Seems like good gameplay would make them more money.
