I have a Switch 2 with MKW. It's pretty fun but I'm a bit bored with it. Every time I think about investing in Switch games for the "Switch 2 Upgrade" I always go back to Ryujinx with my 4090 PC and I can't help but enjoy native 4k Switch games at 120+ fps. Anyone feel the same way?

To put it simply, I caved. I was genuinely curious to see how much better Switch 1 games ran and although my copy of BOTW does indeed look better with the Switch 2 (yes I bought the $10 upgrade) I whole heartedly regret that upgrade purchase as BOTW on CEMU with working HDR at native 4k looks like a complete remake from the ground up in comparison. I just want to play a Nintendo console again and enjoy it I guess.

I haven't noticed anything wrong about the screen and I do play rhythm and shmup games on it, which are time-sensitive too. Sure I'd like to have the OLED for the higher default brightness (which make more suitable in outdoors uses, like in the garden) but I can wait.
I also finished all the solo campaigns in RE6 after a small break between each of them. Definitely what I would call a schizophrenic and bloated game, but playing it on NSW2 was actually possible unlike on the OG hardware.

It is dependent on the game. For F-Zero GX, Smash and Mario Kart, I would say nothing tops the Gamecube controller. Pro controller unfortunately doesn't have analog triggers for F-Zero. For most games (and games that will need the analog stick buttons or both the + and - buttons), the Pro Controller might be fine. I mainly have the 8bitdo Controller because seemingly its analog triggers work in F-Zero GX too and its Dpad is good for fighting games.

It's a bit bigger but the thickness remains the same so it's not a problem when handling it. I also appreciate the joycons stay in place this time around, the right joycon in my OLED Switch had a habit to slide upwards a small bit.
I do agree that some games would benefit from running on [docked Switch 1] mode when using the Switch 2 as handheld. Little Nightmares 1 for instance looks great when docked on Switch 2 (in addition to now run at 60fps since it wasn't capped) but it still looks rather fuzzy when playing in handheld.

I play virtually all games on Switch personally, including ports and multiplats. Switch 2 is also where I expect my Japanese games, even the most niche ones, to be there.
That and I just want the sheer convenience of a console, games working out of the box (even if performance is not perfect at times), swapping between portable and home console modes in the middle of a game, etc.

For my Switch 2 bros, I highly recommend you give Star Wars Outlaws a try, especially if the Switch 2 version comes with all the DLC.

Despite all the shit that got talked about this game at launch, it's seriously good. Best Star Wars game.

For those of you getting Metroid 4 or Pokemon. Just a heads up you can still use buy the game vouchers for the Switch 1 versions for those games, and then spend $10 to just upgrade them to the Switch 2 versions.
You still save $10 per game that way.

I still have Prince of Persia and the Lost Crown to play. Might as well wait until after DK releases at this point.
