Literally one of the worst games in the franchise. Floaty, terrible designed mess, that does not know whether it wants to be an 1980s style arcade hack and slash, or a "modern" RPG-lite. The much later GBA port did improve the pacing, balancing and world design a little bit, but it's still a tedious mess.
Was instantly dethroned by the Game Boy's Link's Awakening, and might just as well be completely forgotten by the time Ocarina Of Time was released.
Hell, I'd rather play the 1986 original LoZ over the LTTP.
