My 144hz 1080p screen still looks kino

I had a 4k monitor but I changed to a ultrawide 1440p high frame rate monitor instead.

Because normies playing on consoles are using 4k smart TV's that are $150 LCD with ass color reproduction. They aren't getting good colors or latency and they don't notice it because they are normie retardeds playing with controllers.

As for PC players, 1080p is still king because the difference between 1080p and 1440p is not big enough to justify at a 3 foot distance for gaming for the price increase.

Thats not even mentioning the cost of OLED on 1440p and 4k IPS. 1440p OLED is still $600, 4k 144hz IPS is still $400. So there's not really any point to upgrade to 1440p if its just a little sharper and you have to spend $500 more.

Why would anyone choose those options when you can buy a pixio 1080p 144hz freesync IPS 110% SRGB chink monitor for $75. I bought mine for $78 all tax included, final price on amazon prime years ago and it has more saturated colors on par with my OLED phone.

Console upscaling (especially pre-PISSR) is obvious, because the final image is rendered and then just stretched to the target resolution with a little bit of sharpening.
DLSS literally hallucinates details. I did a Ratchet & Clank comparison a while back where I did 1440p native and 4k DLSS Quality (which is 1440p source), and the DLSS Quality version had more foliage and other details present.
DLSS also provides anti-aliasing at the target resolution, which other methods don't.

I don't see a difference between 1440p and 4k I however see a difference between 60 fps and 144 fps.

I own a C2 OLED thats 4k 120hz, 1440p 21:9 monitor and a small normal 1080p60 side monitor.

I game almost excusevley on the 1440p 21:9 144hz IPS monitor.

Sure stuff like Death Stranding benifits a lot from HDR on the C2 so I play that on the TV but for almost all other games I prefer my 144hz 21:9

Unless my 4080 can magically handle 4k 120 I'm not moving away from 1440p.

Actual 1440p is genuinely good enough for me. How is this not poorfag coping? Because when I had a 1080p screen, I would try to force heavy anti-aliasing in everything I was playing. As you can imagine yeah this probably led to me playing mostly DX9 games to easily force SGSSAA 8x through the nvidia profile inspector. With 1440, I just don't make the effort anymore. I can still see jaggies but it just isn't a bother at this point.
