Heard that a lot but it would also take a lot to be worst than 6. Ideally 6 would had never existed in the state it was but because we are stuck in this timeline the best we can hope for is that 6 stay as the worst game in the main series. People seem to agree 5 is the best, maybe 2 if you want less systems and have it be more old-school. From my understanding though 4 was pretty good too, it just 5 exist and did it better in the same way 2 is an outright improvement of 1. I have no clue how to feel about 3, I might be bias but the protag is so annoying that he ruined the whole game for me personally. Couldn't even reach the post-game on it. So comparing 7 with 4 which would you say is the better game?

4 has much more content to it, a proper item world, magichange, more weapon skills, and post game. 7 has better story maps I find, some really difficult boss fights, enjoyable cast/story and weapon mastery, though you only get four skills, so that is a step back. 7 just doesn't give you much of a reason to play past beating the game as you only have a few post story battles and then Baal. Now the switch 2 version is supposed to come with more content and extra modes, but I am not familiar with them to say one way or the other on that.
