I'm confused. What fucking console or handheld have you bought that made all your existing games irrelevant? When I got my n64, I played Pilotwings and SM64, and continued to play PC and SNES games. When I got my Playstation, I played FFVII, and continued to play my N64, PC, SNES, etc. And so on. The PS5 has jack shit on it, but it runs your PS4 games a little better. I don't usually replay old games, granted the Switch 2 "allegedly" can run Switch 1 games a bit better, depending on the game, and I guess "some" games are still receiving Switch 2 "upgrades" to boost the FPS and resolution.

In Nintendo fanboy's defense, I will say that Pokemon Scarlet/Violet ran like garbage and the update apparently fixed that, so now it looks decent and runs decent instead of blurry/slimy 15 FPS trash. BotW/ToTK also run at 60 FPS and have a higher resolution now, so they also don't look like blurry/slimy garbage. A lot of Switch games just were really blurry and fuzzy because the Switch could only do like 720p in handheld mode, and even in docked mode at 1080p it was still blurry. I do like that games are getting 4K upgrades to look sharper and the animation is smoother at 60 FPS.
