Void Kong uses his magic to turn her into a little girl, she loses her shoes (too big) and her dress is ruined in the scuffle. Unfortunately now she's a brat and still doesn't listen AND she is actually afraid of singing, so even worse for them.
>Void Kong seals her even further, reducing her to a sealed rock like creature. Finally they can handle her and tell her that if she gets them to the root, she can have any wish. However, during the storm caused by the meteor dropped on Ingot Isle to start the path down to the core, Odd Rock escapes (you can see Grumpy Kong holding her) and she falls down into the hole where DK happens to find her.

The focus on music and the whole terminology with Bananza, Bananergy and so on remind me of the old DK cartoon that was also extremely silly with stupid catchphrases like Banana Slammer - Except Bananza still has a little bit of coolness left, even though it's more Splatoon-coolness than DK-coolness.
