>>714245463 >spend 5 hours waiting for my switch 2 to boot a game from cart >spend 5 more hours waiting for it to render a frame >spend 2 months waiting for the menu to load
Decks are actually pieces of shit. You can tell as soon as you pick one up that it just feels light and cheap. The performance is cool but that doesn't amount to much when the damn thing will barely last you a year before the power button breaks.
Have both.
Touched the deck for less than 1 hour. Isnt HDMI friendly with samsung TVs because lol LINUX just follow these 8 step guide to get a fucking HDMI to work
Switch 2 easily 50 hours in just mario kart.
the steam deck is a social device
you never see people playing on it, all they do is use is as an accessory to show people only how quirky they are for owning garbage no one else wants to buy
they never actually play on it because it's just a worse laptop

One of the games in your image is on switch 2 and only 2 of the other games are any good, dishonored is a dead franchise and who cares about a dead franchise so that really only leaves steam deck with mullet mad jack

I dropped my steam deck down the stairs the other day. The case was unzipped and it fell, full on tumbling all the way down, bouncing on hardwood.
The shell had cracked open. I snapped it back together and literally could not see any evidence of what had just happened, at all.
i still dont understand why i have to pay for nintendos online (same goes for xbone/gaystation) even worse when you want to play their "retro" games you need online plus extra why the fuck cant i just buy the rom on the store
>>714247232 >dont know and dont care. Its less than .0001% pf my income
so? its money wasted. i dont care if i have to pay only one cent why the fuck do i have to pay for my own internet usage when i feel like playing one round of mario kart every few months?

Tendies only take bait all day, but the Steam Deck stock situation is weird. In the US, it was limited to the 48 contiguous states, so I was not allowed to buy one.

what answer does it need
the conversation ended before it could even be questioned >>714245069
a. then you would have bought a pc and moved on
2. the industry doesn't work like that

Working over the 30 fps native here, don't know how that person fucked it up so hard. Enjoy continuing to self-own in this thread instead of playing your games, I guess? >inb4 nOOOOO I browse on my phone and totally play a game that doesn't require my attention at the same time
>>714247287
wow that's insane. you're telling me I can't expect native or near native performance emulating switch games on a steam deck?
i thought this was supposed to be a replacement for the switch (1) entirely and then some.

Forget reproducibility: how much time did the uploader spend playing this one level over and over until there were no more shader compilation stutters?
Everyone wants to talk framerate but nobody wants to talk about the thousands of drops you're getting compiling your shaders while churning through new parts of the game (ie regular progression).
>>714245979
tendies really cant wrap around their heads that sales dont matter for the Deck
the Deck will always be getting games because its tied to Steam
if the Switch 2 failed it would have been a wasteland

They operate on the same principle as the switch, its a quality product for the mainstream audience, of course the chinkphone4000 has better everything at -200usd but you have to put a custom rom on it to work properly. These niggers dont care about ease of use or market segments.
>>714245178
does it tho, switch emulation is almost dead and buried until it flies under the radar for nintendo, so get your 10 games that work properly and 90% that "works" with major glitches or poor perfomance.
>>714252990
Not yet, Emulators will probably be faster in development since you have to buy another switch 2 for the bricking on simple homebrew. This is actually a mistake by nintendo as some of the homebrew crowd and pirates are actual buyers of content they like. Especially if they need to get everyone on board on 80 dollar price tags for old PC ports.
