i have gotten pretty immersed in zero caliber and zero caliber 2. while i suck at VR, i do not suck at shooting, and i will often find myself so immersed in the game that i forget shit isn't always in the right place. i go for my drop leg holster but it's not there, i overshoot my sidearm and grab nothing. i hit the side of an M4 or similar gun, nothing happens because only pavlov does that right, dry fire then manually cycle because using a button is so far removed from what i know to do it's not even funny.
if shit just worked right in vr, it would be a lot better. if i had control over how shit is set up, it would be a lot better. i don't claim to be a competitive shooter, and i don't claim to be an uber top frag vr player, however i know for a fact i am missing potential because most games don't let me set things up how i want. hopefully beyond sandbox fixes that, but i have very managed expectations about that tech demo ass game
