well shit, so what's the point? Also wasn't the game supposed to release in Q2 already? How come they are bringing in a new publisher when the game is basically already done, if Ubisoft is still involved?

Well, at least Hooded Horse is a pretty good choice here.

It's because of Russia. They know there's no point to publish a Heroes game without Russia having access to it because HoMM audience is basically just Russia, CIS countries and Poland, but Ubisoft themselves don't operate in Russia anymore, Hooded Horse does.

The fuck are you schizo talking about. It's the closest game we had to HoMM3 gameplaywise yet. Even the artstyle is a lot less warcrafty than HoMM5-7 was
