I was about to buy Nine Sols on Steam, but the official website has a DRM-free version. Has anyone bought it on the Red Candle shop? I would like to know how it's distributed (zip file, installer, launcher, etc.).

Just got the first ending and started the second one... The cutscene with Heng's last message hit harder than Eigong.
I avoided this game because it felt "too shilled to be good" and in several cases I got dissapointed by such games but it was actually entertaining!
Sadly I'm an achievement autist and I have to restart it eventually for the "Repurposed" achievement.

The game is worth a second playthrough I think, a lot of the story kinda gets hinted at in the earlier parts of the game. People complain about shilling a lot because it gets annoying, but I don't know why shilling is evidence of a 'bad game' people shill for things they enjoy, usually.

It's not that shilling was bad it felt more out of nowhere and not organic I guess. Maybe my previous experiences made me think it would've be bad for no real reason.
I agree with the second playthrough because I feel I didn't "invest" or focus enough on early dialogues and loredumps so I might've missed several stuff.
