Did you know that the US version of this game was made worse than the others for literally no reason? Capcom halved the damage you deal to every enemy and boss for that one in particular.

they used to do weird shit like that with old games, like how some NES games were a lot harder or (sometimes) easier in the US versions

Did you know that Tornado Tonion's weapon is the most powerful attack in the game? It melts just about every boss and enemy in the game, even Tonion himself.

volt tornado hits hard but only if you fire it point blank at a stationary enemy, which is pretty impractical since the best strategy is to just keep moving. raijinshou, however, is by far the most broken move in zero's arsenal, and possibly the entire game (axl's g-launcher is a very close second)

How do people choose games like X7 to speed run? Did you grow up poor with nothing but a PS2 and a second hand copy of X7?

its the easiest game in the series so i figured it would be comfy to run. for the most part, it is, but there's some really annoying segments that absolutely hemorrhage time for no good reason (tonion's miniboss, gungaroo, red)

i'd still rather play x7 any day of the week over x8

Second easiest under X4, in my opinion. That game's stages and bosses are entirely negligible in terms of difficulty.
