Girls from well-off families will tend to have a higher standard of living and typically better education and upbringing. This leads to a much higher quality of life which reflects in their appearance. Makeup can do wonders but even without makeup they will likely be conventionally attractive (I use the British as an example. Middle-Upper class British girls look very pretty while the lower working class is where all of the memes come from with ugly orange ogres. Poverty and unhealthy lifestyles are abound.).
Furthermore they also tend to not have to work, which is why you see so many "influencers" who come from very financially well off backgrounds because they can fuck around making videos and travelling the world and put a lot of emphasis on appearances. Now guess who has the time, means and financial security to just up roots and move to Japan? A girl from a struggling single-parent household who had to work long hours starting at 16 just to make ends meet? Or an upper-middle class girl whose only job lasted a few weeks at Starbucks while she made makeup tutorials on Youtube and bought expensive cosplays and has no real worries?
