For a Pokémon game, it’s embarrassingly easy. Most of the new Pokémon aren’t particularly interesting, the starter trio not feeling very creative, and your “rivals” being absolute pushovers. No, they weren’t great.

USUM is better, just be prepared to have something else to do or watch while button mashing through cutscenes and dialogue. Once that's all done it's a pretty good game. The totem bosses can be pretty hard depending on your team, and the endgame legendary catching is pretty cool
