Unironic female anon here just roaming the threads a little. Old Lara for sure. I also like Bayonetta, her "sexualized" looks were never a problem for me. Homura/Pyra from XC2, I even have her official figure. That chick from the first Jak and Dexter. Impa from OOT. Garnet from FFIX. And others I can't remember now.

Honestly I've been playing vidya since the N64 era and I never had a problem with big-chested female characters. I even played games with my mom and we were always happy to see a girl on the screen, like "Oh she is so pretty!" or "Lol no wonder he likes her". I don't get why girls are allowed to drool over half-naked or sexy male characters while men can't admire an objectively pretty female character with big boobs (or small, whatever makes you happy). Things were better when they were simpler.

The problem is that there are some people whose looks are so disconnected from reality they can't find those characters hot because they "don't look" like them or don't represent their idea of beauty. It's the reason why so many CC are now filled with vitiligo, abnormal weight sliders, and "Type A" and "Type B" bullshit to allow people like pic related to mould the perfect character model that can bring their fantasies to life. They are literally unable to enjoy a character for what it is. A normal girl knows she will never look like Homura or Bayonetta, but she is still able to love them and connect with them, while trans people want the world to cater to them and change itself to reflect their idea of beauty.

100% correct. Bayonetta was my ex-wife's favourite character and my current wife is obsessed with Pyra / Mythra after watching me do a playthrough during COVID lockdowns.

People just like attractive characters. Ask any gay man if they love breasts and you will find that they rival any straight man. Representation isn't as effective as studies suggest in this type of media and we have known this for nearly 20 years now.

Look at GTA: San Andreas. This game was a massive success during a time when the gaming population was still young white / asian males. Do you think any of them gave a damn about playing as CJ, or do you think they just wanted to play a fun and engaging game?
