Bomberman was never a big enough deal, C-lister at best. Hudson Soft was too retarded to captalize on him properly. Jetters could have easily made the series more popular in the West if they localized it. Especially since there were a bunch of video game animes in the early 2000s.

Bomberman is hardly a popular series, its just really cheap to make so the small fanbase is enough to keep it profitable.

Bomberman works better as an assist anyway because that way can stay true the games that the fans care about the most.

Give it the edgy makeover like the new upcoming Pacman game. Also make it have the N64 multiplayer.
