i never considered them that "great" back in the day and dropped the first one after 10-ish hours, but recently gave them another go and played through the legendary edition and had lots of fun, better worldbuilding than any game from the last decade, aside maybe for BG3 and that one has all the backing of the DND universe and 2 games behind it... Compared to new shit, its great
