30 year old zoomer here. My favorites (mostly in order) out of the probably near thousand games I've beat, based on what I think of them today, with no weight given to nostalgia.

I hate doing 3x3s because I feel like I am cutting off too many games. I find it hard to rate/rank games, because different games are good in different ways, and I also haven't played some of these in a while, so I'm just going based off fuzzy memories or nostalgia.

it's the best way to play the game without having to mod it (mostly because of the crouch walk, but also because of the fast menu access) .
people bitch and moan about muh framerate, but it really isn't bad at all when playing on the actual hardware.

never played demons. 1 and 2 are very good, but have some major pitfalls that keep them off my favourites. elden ring has the best combat and character building, but the open world is tedious, needless, and makes repeat playthroughs a slog. bloodborne and 3 are the best games, even if bloodborne is lacking in character building options.

RE6 is good. i don't care if it did not live up to your expectations of being a survival horror game, traversing one building and doing a bunch of puzzles to unlock every room. RE6 is a fun action game. change your expectations for what you think the game should be and you might enjoy it more rather than crying about the game not being what you expected.

it works well for snake eater, but i'd agree that adding it to mgs1 and 2 would totally fuck up the design of those games, specifically. most of snake eater's levels - even at groznyj grad - are still fun on 3ds extreme (ee) because of the terrain. it's not like crouch walking eliminates any challenge; it can actually elevate your opportunites to pull creative stealth shit.

Based for not being afraid to have popular games on there, why do you like La Mulana 1 over 2? I thought most people liked the sequel better
