It's frustrating because ND is otherwise an extremely competent studio, they don't innovate per say but their games are technically impeccable and gameplay top notch given contemporary standards. TLoU 2 was a clusterfuck of talmudic nonsense but the gameplay was excellent and game had a visceral feel throughout that put anything else to shame.

Hope they scrap that pozzed bullshit they shown and make a proper 80s anime space game now that the subversive kike is gone.

It was actually already dead by then. Amy cultivated the Uncharted era of Naughty Dog where they had Gordon Hunt as the mocap casting director. As soon as Neil Druckmann wormed himself into a Creative Director position between Uncharted 2 and TLOU1, he clashed with Gordon Hunt and got him fired to become the Casting Director himself. This crippled Amy's ability to work on Uncharted 4 like the other games, and sabotaged the game enough so when they came back from TLOU1, the progress on Uncharted 4 was abysmal, and they fired Amy because Druckmann had already converted the studio into a woke femoid cult that wanted to create indie-game assets like grafitti art and notebook scribbles. It was no longer a studio where the Creative Director coalesces the schedule for everyone else, but a studio where everybody gets a participation trophy. More money goes to more salaries "environmental storytelling" and less money goes towards cutscenes.

That's also why Uncharted was full of distracting features like the unnecessary "Dialogue Choices". GDC-culture and post-GamerGate culture entered the studio and Amy no longer got along with the new femoid employees.

Very happy to see Druckmann farm more of those dumbasses and marginalize themselves into a failing studio. Naughty Dog is over bros.

a real big boy VR game will never be made because games with that budget have to be sold like 15 million times over the course of its lifespan or its a wash for the company, the very simple barrier of the goggles will always deny the possiblity.
