Because it's organized to some degree of competence unlike a stream VOD which makes the viewer do all the work. Some people still edit out dead air in their lets plays too which is nice.

Is that still common among streamers/LPers? The only LPs I watch these days are OneyPlays and that's nothing but cuts to the next bit.
