it's better than nier and nier automata

The combat and graphics are better. The story and music are worse. The characters might as well be cardboard cutouts with how much emotion they bring to the table. The game about android that are literally supposed to suppress their emotions has more emoting.
That all being said, its a solid 8/10 game. I enjoyed it.

Don't get me wrong, the music is good. There are just no tracks that come even close to Kaine Salvation, Birth of a Wish, Song of the Ancients, Weight of the World, Emil Despair, etc. Nearly every song from Nier and Automata is a complete 10/10. Most of the Stellar Blade is just nice background music.

Nta but it's the opposite for me. There's a reason why people want an option to turn off the nier music that plays when you use nier outfits. It sounds way too melodramatic for Stellar Blade's more cozy cafe music vibes.
That said, nier is a completely different style of music and I can understand that but I simply prefer Stellar Blade's more MGR/Bayonetta style music.
No nier music has ever live rent free in my head for a year than hearing the hyper tube song.

Also, the fact that you actually get to have a thematic rival battle with a hype battle theme. Automata felt way too subversive for my taste i.e. 2B and A2 weren't going to be a dante vs vergil instead it's 9S fighting A2 instead and they weren't even rivals. One was just going nuts while the other was trying to keep a promise.
When Stellar Blade 2 comes out, I really do wish Raven becomes playable.

That's just how unreal engine hair typically looks. This game is made in UE4 but it's especially noticeable and almost impossible to get rid of in UE5.

i just played both since SB came to PC and i'm pretty sure my bias is making me unable to fairly compare them
Nier has the better story, but SB gameplay is 100x better. also I prefer SB's music (though they are both God tier)
i am quite thankful to have enjoyed both of these kino ass games in the past month though

The music in this game is just too damn comfy. I would totally listen to this while trying to relax on a beach.

Really dislike that some outfits give Eve hooves.

basado. yeah i've been done with the game a couple weeks now and have still been listening to the OST every day

We just need to assemble a team combining Yoko Taro with some competent technical guys so you get the best of both.
