The first version in 2018 was extremely basic (which fits for a phone game in 2018, think of FGO) with inconsistent art (they use various artists instead of a uniform artstyle), the running look like they were jogging instead of running (funny enough they had bumping mechanic back then, but scrapped them in the final version).

For me personally it isn't what others allow me to enjoy, but the influx of new players/users with little to do with a series you've enjoyed long before them showing up. It will eventually set the precedent to cater to the many new than the long-time few. Think like how Fire Emblem brought in the wrong kind of new fans with Awakening and Fates, but was somewhat salvageable up until 3H absolutely poisoned the pot with Persona-like shit and brought in the worst people who haven't and will never play the old games or new games unless they are exactly like 3H.
