Really cool Bandai-Namco let the devs take the time they needed/wanted for a game in a series that probably isn't the hugest priority to Bandai-Namco. This is going to elevate Digimon.

It'll probably still play like shit though.

It's alright-ish. The main cast are always arguing with each other and that can be annoying. I think it's a decent game with a mileage will vary factor. I'd do some digging into other reviews and opinions on the game. I think you have to beat the game once and replay it to get the good ending.

As long as there is content locked behind dlc (episode packs and digimon) it is not a complete package without spending $100. Which I said I'm not doing. All of these so obviously belong to E33 that I genuinely wonder how they're going to parse it out to be fair. I'm looking forward to Digimon, I'm enjoying Death Stranding 2 right now, I keep forgetting Kingdom Come 2 exists, but absolutely nothing is standing in that game's way at the moment.

I was expecting something on the level of FFT/Tactics Ogre. Evolving and devolving your mons to get certain moves. Unlocking evolutions through specific actions. Learning moves from equipment. Stuff like those that lets you modify your digimon. I was really disappointed.

I mean, Day 1 DLC is extremely scummy and never worth supporting. He is an autist but the sentiment is good. It's like that old image of a painting where a piece is removed and locked behind an extra charge. "You don't have to buy it" is a nonargument. If it's out on day 1 for that price it's not some little cosmetic, it's significant content they've snipped out to charge extra for without having it scare off potential customers who aren't touching anything above $70.

Except we don't know that? The 30 burgers is for the season pass which is supposedly going to cover extra content releases into September of next year. They haven't announced a timeline for when the extra content packs are actually going to be coming out. If they did then please show it.
